Inspection, testing and preventative maintenance
Active earthquake instrumentation may have batteries, power supplies, DC-DC converters, seismic sensors or other elements that require periodic testing or replacement to ensure that the earthquake instrumentation is ready to respond to strong ground motion. In some cases, annual testing is code-mandated (i.e. automated toxic gas shutoff).

Startup and Commissioning
Startup & commissioning services ensure that new instrumentation has not been damaged from shipping and installation and that the equipment is operating as designed.
